Scene 1: Slater House (kitchen)

It's the following day after Sean had got back. Sean is pushing Stacey to explain what had happened between her and Bradley while he was away.

Sean: "I don't get it, when I went away you were all loved and when I get back daggers are drawn"

Stacey tells Sean that her and Bradley just didn't work out. She says she went to Bradley's work due, got a bit drunk and one thing lead to another. Sean asks if Bradley hurt her and she says he didn't and she is fine. Sean then tells her he knows and he can tell all is not as it seems, still suspsicious after finding the tie the previous day. In reply to Sean saying "I know you and your not yourself", Stacey says:

"and since when did you become the expert"

She says this in a sarcastic tone, perhaps reminding Sean that he hasn't be around in years up until now so how could he 'know her'? Sean tells Stacey he just doesn't want her getting involved with the wrong bloke and getting hurt. Stacey's phone rings, while she tells Sean there is no 'bloke', that she is single and enjoying it. It's Max who is ringing Stacey, but she ignores the phone call. Sean then pulls the tie out of his pocket and asks if Stacey doesn't have a new bloke, whose is the tie. Stacey isn't sure what to say.

Scene 2: Slater House (kitchen)

Stacey, now unable to deny that there was indeed a man with her in the house yesterday proceeds to tell Sean it was just a bloke. Sean asks why she didn't tell him and Stacey is quick to respond that it isn't any of his business. Concerned and in a very annoyed tone Sean asks if the bloke is dodgy or married. Stacey says after she split up with Bradley she wanted a change and says he is just a bit of rough. In response Sean says:

"What are you then, the local bike?"

It obvious here that Sean doesn't like the thought of Stacey being seen as cheap and easy. It's obvious he genuinely cares for and doesn't want to see her getting a bad reputation for sleeping with men. It's obvious that Sean still sees Stacey has his little sister and not a grown up young woman. He is very protective of her. Stacey responds by reminding him that she is a grown up and says that she doesn't do celibacy as she says:

"What do you want? me on the mountains singing the hills are alive?"

This would be a reference to the Sound of Music and the character of Maria, who is seen as an wholesome and pure figure, something Stacey is saying she won't be. Sean tells Stacey she is his sister and he is here to look after her and he doesn't want some bloke taking advantage of her. In reply Stacey asks:

"Why Sean? Why now? What are you trying to make up for?"

Once again Stacey is pointing out the fact that Sean disapeared for years and he is trying to make up for leaving the family. It obvious she is still very angry for him deserting them like he did. Sean shakes his head as Stacey leaves the kitchen, perhaps realising what she says is true that he is trying to make up for those years he wasn't there for her.

Scene 3: Queen Vic

Sean comes into the pub and sees Bradley sitting alone. He sits down with him and asks sarcasticly if Bradley is enjoying the 'single' life. We then focus on a conversation between Rob and Dawn, but still see Sean and Bradley talking in the background. We come back to Bradley and Sean's conversation and Sean tells Bradley that he is a little disapointed in the way he had treated his sister and that she is upset and it's down to him. Bradley asks when Stacey had said and Sean says:

"Nothing, she doesn't need to, she's hurt, she's upset and that's down to you"

Slightly uneasy, Bradley tells Sean that it isn't any of his business, but Sean asks did you get bored and that's why you chucked her, with Bradley protesting that is wasn't like that. Sean doesn't care, instead threatening Bradley by saying:

"Let me tell you something Bradley, You hurt her, you ever go near her again and your gonna have to try the rest of your life without a windpipe. Someone hurts my sister, they pay!"

Sean gets up and leaves the pub, while Bradley is clearly shaken up by this threat and has to compose himself.

Scene 4: Market

After leaving the pub, Sean goes by the market where some workmen have been flirting with Stacey and Preeti. Preeti is trying to get Stacey to join her and the 2 workmen for a drink in the pub. When Stacey sees Sean walk by she is reminded of his persistance of finding out who her new man is. She realises that if she goes for the drink, Sean will think her new man is one of the workmen and it will take the heat off her keeping Max a secret. Stacey gives in and tells Preeti she will go for the drink.

Scene 5: Queen Vic

Sean comes into the pub, while Stacey and Preeti are flirting with the 2 workmen. One of them asks her to feel his bicep which she does giggling. As Sean walks to the bar, Max (who is having a drink with Tanya) sees and says in a mocking tone:

"Ah, look, it's the caped crusader"

I think Max is making the observation that Sean thinks he's some kind of super hero, looking to save his sister all the time when it isn't really needed.

Sean spots Stacey laughing with the workmen and his face turns to hanger. He goes up to Stacey and tells her he'd like to have a word with her. Stacey and the workman both look uneasy as she gets up to go and talk to Sean away from her 'new' friends.

Scene 6: Back at the Queen Vic

Sean asks Stacey what she is doing and she says she is just having a drink and a laugh. Sean asks if that's him who she is seeing, remarking that he doesn't look like the 'tie wearing' type. Stacey says it might be and to leave her alone. She sarcasticly says he uses the tie to tie her hands. Not content in trying to put Sean in his place, she also attacks Bradley and Lydia who are standing at the bar. She snarls:

"You two should be a good fit, you can go to bed and then write an essay about it after"

Here Stacey is being saractic about the fact that Lydia (and Bradley to a certain extent) are the well brought up type who stick there noses in books all day. She is pretty much saying they are snobs. This is a dig at their professional life where they are in the higher money bracket.

Max takes Stacey aside and asks her what she is doing? She replies what you told me to do, in refence to Max saying they need to cool things down slightly so folks don't guess they are having an affair. Sean is sat across from Tanya, who asks how his holiday was and he says it was good. In a flirty way, Sean says he will show her is tan like if you like. Max returns to the table and Tanya says that it's funny that they hadn't noticed he had been gone. She is obviously trying to brush him off and make out she doesn't care. However with this kind of defensive comment it's obvious she likes him, though she knows she shouldn't. Max then kisses Tanya, which clearly upsets Sean.

Scene 7: Back at the Queen Vic

Sean sees the workman who was flirting with Stacey get up and go in the toilet, realising this his opportunity to have a quiet word with him.

Scene 8: Queen Vic (toilet)

Sean goes into the toilet where the workman is about to leave and steps in front of him. The workman asks Sean if he has a problem. Seans replies:

"Yeah I do, I'm looking at it. You know that little girl out there, pretty, dark hair. She's my sister"

The guy protests that they are only having a couple of friendly drinks, but Sean doesn't care and says:

"Well let me give you some friendly advice, go back out there, drink up, leave. Now do you think you can do that? because if you don't I might get a bit annoyed"

The workman puts his hand up to show it shaking and sarcasticly says he is 'that scared' he is trembling. Sean says that he should be.

Scene 9: Back in the bar area of the Queen Vic

Max tells Stacey to leave it now and just go home, feeling slightly jealous and thinking Stacey has gone far enough. Stacey returns to Preeti and the Workmen, puts her coat on to leave while the worman who Sean threatended drinks up and says right lets go, randomly choosing between Stacey and Preeti to go back to his 'penthouse overlooking the Thames' with him, choosing Stacey in the end to Preeti's disapointment. Stacey tells him she doesn't think so and won't be going with him. The workman tells Stacey to hold, whilst pulling her back when Sean comes out of the toilet. Sean tells the guy that he just doesn't know when to listen. The workman asks what he is gonna do about it and Sean then knocks him onto the floor. Stacey is pleading with Sean not to do this! The guy gets up and takes a swing at Sean, which Sean blocks. Sean then punches the guy, knocking him flying!

Sean takes hold of Stacey's hand and leads her out of the pub. As he leaves he tells the shocked pub that if anyone else wants a pop, they know where he is. Stacey and Sean leave the Vic while everyone looks on in disbelief.
