Scene 1: Market (Stacey's stall)

"Thought they'd never leave, you'd think they were off to Belinda's for the week not the night" (Sean to Stacey)
Sean is talking to Stacey at her stall about Charlie and Mo going to Belinda's for the night, but she isn't really listening to him. He then comments that she has been a right moody cow just lately, asking why she needed to go for a walk at around 5am in the morning! |
Sean says he thinks Stacey is being off because she is depressed at having no social life at the moment. Stacey tells Sean if that's the case, then why don't they go out tonight. Sean tells her he can't as he is checking out a new gym named 'Jodie' or 'Josie' not able to make his mind up which! Here Sean is using the word 'gym' as a code for seeing a girl, likely to be one of his latest sexual conquests.

"I can't tonight, I'm checking out that new gym ain't I?" (Sean to Stacey) and after Stacey realises what he means and asks if the 'gym' has a name. Sean replies "Yes it does, It's Jodie, Josie, something, I dunno"
Stacey then looks over seeing Max walking across the square, so she quickly changes the subject and asks Sean if he wants a coffee. Stacey wants to avoid Max and doesn't want her brother getting suspicious so beats an hasty retreat to the Cafe. Sean agrees to a coffee seeing as Stacey is buying!

Scene 2: Queen Vic (Bar)
Later on, Sean and Stacey are in the Queen Vic. Stacey asks Sean if he is taking this new bird of his out and he says he isn't because her dad has got a penthouse on the Docklands, that has a jacuzzi, indoor swimming pool, home cinema (with surround sound) and table football! Stacey advises that he better get in there quick then in that case!

Stacey asks Sean if it means he will be sleeping over at the girls house, with Sean asking if this is 'twenty questions'. Sean is not the type of guy who needs everyone (especially is little sister) knowing his business. So he simply replies,
"Let me just put it like this, dont wait up"
Sean winks at Stacey and leaves the pub. |
