Robert Kazinsky makes his return to EastEnders in this episode after a 2 week break over Christmas.

Scene 1: Queen Vic

Sean walks into the Queen Vic looking for Stacey as he had not seen her working on her market stall. He spots Bradley at the bar, whilst Bradley is pondering whether or not to send a text message to Lydia. Sean is out of the loop on recent events and assumes Bradley is texting Stacey. Sean taps Bradley making him jump. Although Bradley had not noticed Sean and was startled, I believe this demonstrates how indimitating Sean can be and Bradley is obviously not pleased to see him. Sean also shows his superiority when Mickey tries to join in the conversation before Sean dismisses him

"I'm talking to city wizz kid here"

Sean says to Mickey, in the kind of tone that tells us he isn't interested in a word Mickey has to say. He sees Mickey as very insignificant and unimportant. He isn't interested in the latest gossip.

Sean pushes Bradley into telling him what is going on after Bradley says he doesn't care where Stacey is. Following this Sean enquires in a fake sympathetic manner

"Don't tell me you broke up while I was away and I missed it"

Sean is obviously glad that the pair have gone their seperate ways, but probably genuinely disapointed that he wasn't involved in causing the break up. Sean then notices the text Bradley is too nervous to send. Shocked at the thought that Bradley has someone knew he shrieks

"Who's Lydia!"

(Mickey fills Sean in that Bradley's got a new 'bird') Sean takes the phone off Bradley and sends the text for him. This probably shows that Sean is glad Bradley is seeing someone new on one hand, because it means Stacey is free from him with very little chance they might reconcile. However Sean is not happy that Bradley has replaced his sister so quick, like Stacey is worth nothing. Sean tells Bradley to Keep out of his sisters hair and once again asks "If she ain't on her stall, then where is she?" in a tone that he thinks Bradley should or does know where she is!

Scene 2: The Slater House

Stacey and Max are upstairs in bed when they hear the door go. Firstly wondering who it could be as Charlie and Mo were meant to be out all day. They hear Sean shout hello and Stacey says

"He sure chooses his moments"

Stacey says this sarcastically, which tells us just how unpredictable Sean can be. Stacey says she will keep Sean talking, while Max sneaks out the back door. Sean asks Stacey what she is doing in a dressing gown in the middle of the afternoon, already very suspicious of what she's been up to. She asks him how Egypt was with an annoyed tone in her voice.

She could be mad about him turning up unannounced and spoiling her afternoon with Max. However I believe she is also annoyed that Sean took off over Christmas when he knew Jean was spending Christmas at the Slater house. He asks if Stacey has got a bloke upstairs but she quickly makes up the excuse that she has a cold, but Sean doesn't believe her and says he will go up and look. Stacey stops him though and tells him not to be ridiculous. Stacey then changes the subject and asks where her postcard is? Sean says

"To tell you the truth? I couldn't be bothered, postcards are stupid"

I think this says that Sean doesn't like to make any effort to keep in touch. His contact with his family has to be on his own terms and he likes to remain in control of this. He makes it obvious he has no ties and wants to keep it that way. However he says that he thinks they are for people who brag about where they can afford to go on holiday. Perhaps on the other hand, he didn't want to remind Stacey he had decided to go on holiday to avoid Jean and he felt sending her a postcard would remind of her of this?

While Stacey and Sean are talking about the postcard, Max manages to sneak out the back door. Sean asks again who the 'new' bloke is showing nothing gets past him. However Stacey is still insistant that there isn't a new bloke and leaves the living room saying she going to make herself a tea. After Stacey leaves the room Sean notices a tie on the floor (which Max had dropped earlier) With a smirk on his face he realises he was spot on when he thought Stacey has gotten a new bloke. The smirk signifying that he is pleased with himself that he had guessed Stacey was involved with someone new.

Episode ends on this scene of Sean smirking.
